Like many great businesses MOM was established when preparedness met opportunity.
Whilst working for Karen and John Dineen at BIG4 Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park, Kath Massey saw the need for an industry experienced online support service to assist parks with online marketing and management. Armed with a laptop and Dineen Tourism Management as a first client MOM opened the doors in 2009 and now works with holiday parks and tourist businesses Australia wide.
Kath Massey grew up with tourism in the blood in the NSW South Coast town of Merimbula. With work experience including bank officer, cafe owner/operator, sales manager for dynamic import/export company and park manager at BIG4 Forest Glen Holiday Resort for over four years Kath has a diverse range of business and tourism skills.
Gaining her first tertiary qualification in Business and Tourism from Monash University Kath continues to develop her digital marketing skills and awareness via the schools of Google, Facebook, Mashable and cyberspace in general.
In 2012 Kath won the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast Business Pitch Competition with her Dragons Den style delivery of the MOM business model and the tagline "take more holidays, spend them in Australia and stay in a holiday park"
Kath is a passionate advocate of Australian tourism and the holiday park industry and feels fortunate to have found a way to promote both.
