Meet the MOM team

Kath Massey

Kath Massey grew up with tourism in her blood in the NSW South Coast town of Merimbula. With work experience including being a bank officer, cafe owner/operator, sales manager for a dynamic import/export company and park manager at BIG4 Forest Glen Holiday Resort for over four years, Kath has a diverse range of business and tourism skills.

Gaining her first tertiary qualification in Business and Tourism from Monash University, Kath continues to develop her digital marketing skills and awareness via the schools of Google, Facebook, Mashable and cyberspace in general.

In 2012 Kath won the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast Business Pitch Competition with her Dragons Den style delivery of the MOM business model, and the tagline "take more holidays, spend them in Australia and stay in a holiday park".

Kath is a passionate advocate of Australian tourism and the holiday park industry, and feels fortunate to have found a way to promote both.

Renee Beccari

Renee grew up in the beautiful South Australian countryside before moving to Queensland in 1995 where she has since been able to embrace the beach life as well as the picturesque hinterland of the Sunshine Coast.

Renee gained extensive work experience in corporate, legal and accounting administration before moving into the tourism sector, front desk and reservations in numerous holiday parks and destination hot spots, including the international resort chain, Oaks Group. Renee trained for four years at BIG4 Forest Glen Holiday Resort moving from casual relief Receptionist to full-time right hand of the Manager, Kath Massey.

Renee’s qualifications include Certificates 2 and 3 in Business, Certificate 4 in Frontline Management and has recently obtained her Associate Degree in Business Studies and Diploma of Business Studies through Swinburne University (2017).

Renee has been a part of the Massey Online Management team since 2009 assisting in all aspects of the business including accounts, administration, digital marketing and website development. She also loves the job requirement of being paid to be spend a large part of the day on Facebook.

Sue Hansen

Sue Hansen (nee Rixon) is a second generation "Parkie" who grew up in the family business at the BIG4 Tropical Wanderer Holiday Park in Rockhampton, Qld. After completing her degree in Tourism at James Cook University she spent the next ten years gaining experience in the field of adventure tourism working at the Sunshine Village Ski Lodge in Canada and as a safari guide in Africa.

Upon her return to Australia her work experience has included managing the Tropical Wanderer until its sale in 2005, Marketing Manager for the Bundaberg Tourism region where she now lives, and as the QLD/NT State Manager for BIG4 Holiday Parks.

Sue loves the challenge of working with online systems and social media and being able to combine this with her passion for the holiday park industry. She is proud to work alongside her hardworking team and be part of such an exciting and innovative company.

Melinda Haeusler

Melinda has been working in marketing for over 25 years and finds it dynamic, challenging and rewarding. She has been fortunate enough to work with amazing companies who helped shaped her future and fuelled her enthusiasm for marketing. She found her calling after working for Walt Disney London and pursued her career within the tourism industry. Upon her return to Australia she worked in marketing at Dreamworld, completed a public relations degree from QUT then moved to the Sunshine Coast where she was Marketing Manager at Aussie World for seven years as well as working for the respected Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

Melinda has expertise in all aspects of marketing including advertising, publicity, traditional marketing and digital. She is deadline driven, can project manage and multi task, and has an extraordinary high level of attention to detail.

On her days off Melinda can be found hiking around the country side or throughout the world. Her favourite holiday destination is anywhere where the horizon can be seen through the trees.

Lesley-Anne Edmond

Lesley-Anne, or LA, grew up in Ashburton situated in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand, only moving to Queensland with her husband and daughter in 2011. She escaped the earthquakes only to find flooding!

LA has worked in several customer service and PA positions over the years which has given her a huge appreciation of excellent customer service. She found working in the tourism and hospitality area a great platform to share this enthusiasm with others.

Prior to working at Massey Online Management, LA held a number of roles in an apartment complex in Caloundra. She started out with a few casual housekeeping hours per week and worked her way to the top as the full time Complex Manager, learning an incredible amount along the way.

Having been taught by Kath to correctly use and utilise the many features of the RMS system, LA is now working with new RMS clients to guide them through their set up and operational training of the RMS system. 

Marion Siebuhr

Marion’s love of travel began in her childhood with annual family caravan trips to Ballina, where her family later moved to. After completing a Bachelor of Business in Tourism Management, she went on to work in the Front Office in such beautiful locations at Heron Island, Queenstown, New Zealand and Vancouver, Canada. She then spent ten years working on Princess Cruises ships, in Alaska, Mexico, the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

Returning to Australia, Marion used her expert travel knowledge as a travel agent, before packing up the house with her husband and son for a five-month caravan trip. They travelled from the Sunshine Coast down the East Coast to the Great Ocean Road and Ballarat and concluded with five weeks in the van around Tasmania.

Now settled back on the Sunshine Coast, Marion has been working in Marketing and Admin, before joining the Massey Online team. Excited to share her love of travel and marketing, she loves nothing better than putting herself into a guest’s shoes to share the best of what a destination has to offer.

Ellen Massey

Ellen began working for MOM as a junior when she was 14 years old. She began assisting with downloading online surveys and basic data management and now works primarily in social media management, third party listing management and web design.

She loves to travel and spent five months backpacking through Europe in 2018. The experience gave her a unique view on guest experience and the importance of quality customer service, effective eMarketing, and proficient reservation systems.

Ellen loves the opportunity Massey Online provides her to discover and learn more about new Australian destinations and encourages her to direct her travel bug energy towards places closer to home.

Oliver Massey

In 2015 Oliver completed a school based traineeship gaining a Certificate 3 in Digital Media and Information Technology.

His contribution to the MOM team includes maintaining all the hardware, software and applications we require to do our jobs, formatting and editing images and video, assisting Kath with data analysis and testing or implementing new applications that requires advanced IT skills.

He is a mad keen surfer so the flexiblity of our cloud based business fits him well. When the waves are cranking... he works at night!

Julie Daniel

One of our newest members, Julie left her hometown in SA for a working holiday around Australia, gaining tourism experience in beautiful locations such as Kakadu National Park, Arnhem Land and Cairns. Love of travel then took her caravanning around the Uk and Europe before finding her forever home on the Sunny Coast.

Never afraid of hard work Julie owned and operated three busy businesses on the coast all the while studying for a degree at USC. Prior to travel Julie’s experience was extensive in accounting and administration but she realized her calling was in tourism and customer service relishing the five years spent working as office manager for BIG4 Caloundra.

Julie feels fortunate to have gained extensive experience over the past 20 years in all aspects of business & revenue management, customer service, booking systems and dynamic tariff management. Having first had experience of the many challenges posed at the ‘front line’ of park management she is excited to be in a position to offer assistance in all aspects of revenue and rate management to ‘those hard workers out there who just don’t have time to crunch the numbers!’

Breeanna Laidsaar

Breeanna grew up in a small and dusty mining town in Central Queensland before making her way to the “Big Smoke” of Brisbane after school to study.

At Griffith University, she completed a Business Degree in Marketing and Human Resources where she was able to explore her interests in creativity and copywriting.

After graduating, Breeanna worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a not-for-profit organisation in the early childhood industry, gaining invaluable experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.

Moving on from this role, Breeanna was employed as a Studio and Marketing Administrator in a Brisbane based brand agency where she gained skills in Digital Marketing and learnt the importance of a strong brand message, both of which have become strong interests in her career. 

Breeanna joined the Massey Online Management Team shortly after moving to the stunning Sunshine Coast and thoroughly enjoys learning from and being part of the experienced team (and does not understand how she ever lived so far away from the beach).

A lover of arty activities and film, in her spare time Breeanna can be found splattering paint and watching too many movies.

Jared Russell

Jared started his career working in family dining restaurants prior to moving into quick service restaurant management before being motivated by a memorable guest experience to join the hotelier world. A world in which he quickly built a reputation for producing positive results and continuously meeting and quite often beating KPI, guests and staff expectations within the industry. After years of honing his skills within the industry as a whole, he is now well versed as a high level systems operator with a wide range of diverse skills across multiple business structures ranging from corporate brands, hotels and independent management rights, as well as being a preopening specialist for a number of large and successful properties. 

Originally from Sydney, Jared has called many parts of Australia home from the East coast right over to the West coast of Australia seeing some amazing sites and meeting a variety of personalities along the way before finding home in Brisbane. 

You'll find Jared in his element working with our PMS training clients, acquisition projects, operations and sales and revenue management.
