MOM Property Performance Dashboards

Google Data Studio is a business intelligence systems that allows us (and you) to monitor primary revenue and brand recognition drivers and to communicate in an efficient way just what it is that we actually DO for the money that you pay us each month.

Please note that there are a few things to be aware of when accessing your reporting dashboard as follows:

  1. You need to use Chrome or Firefox for the dashboard to display correctly and it will take a while to load the first time you open it, especially the Google My Business page. Make a cup of tea and come back later.

  2. We are sending you a "view" link with an individual login and password. If you are already logged into another google account, you will need to "Use another account" and sign in with the above details to access your dashboard. If you are asked for a phone number to text a code, just use your own number (it's just google making sure you are human and not a bot!)

  3. This is a dynamic dashboard linked to live data from multiple applications so sometimes connections break and occasionally you will get a "no data found" field. Try reloading and let us know if it does not resolve so that we can check the connections.

  4. On the Google Analytics page if you have "no data" under the Revenue & Conversion Rate area this is not an error but is linked to cross domain tracking between your website and booking engine. You will need to talk to Kath if you want more info on the various factors that need to be in place for this data.

  5. All pages should default to the previous month. You can change the dates to see historical data or a date range on Google products (analytics, ads, etc). Social media apps like Facebook and Instagram only display the last 28 days of historical data.

  6. The Online Performance page has 2019 & 2020 FY online booking revenue by channel and starts from the month we commenced your services. This data is updated monthly from reports we pull from your PMS.

  7. The Electronic Direct Mail page contains links to Vision6 reports for your email campaigns. Their reports are so comprehensive that there was no need for us to reinvent the wheel. At this stage we cannot pull a report directly from Mail Chimp.

  8. The monthly update page is a summary of anything that the team has done outside of our monthly schedule of services plus any new developments or action items that we are working on.

  9. There is a lot of information in these dashboards and much of it will not mean anything to you. If you would like Kath to run through and decipher the key points please lock in a time for her to call using this link

You will be notified when your dashboard is updated each month and it will remain a work in progress. We are planning on adding more data sources in future and are currently working on an all properties bench marking page that will give an overview of online booking performance by booking channel, state and region.

This project has been just one of the new initiatives that we have been beavering away on for some time including a collaboration with RMS to launch Google Hotel Ads and AirBnB and Aircamp roll out and intergrations. We have also added two new team members this year, both with extensive revenue management experience, that is now included as an optional extra to our Systems/OTA Management service model. So... brace yourselves...you can expect to hear a lot more from the MOM team in future!
