Artificial Intelligence 30 Day Challenge

September 2024 AI

In the ever-evolving world of content creation, artificial intelligence (AI) tools are becoming increasingly prevalent. Recently, I took part in Nas.io's '30 Day AI Viral Content Challenge,' an experience that opened my eyes to the potential—and limitations—of AI in crafting engaging social media content.

Here's what I learned about balancing AI assistance with the irreplaceable human touch.

Nas.io captured my attention with their challenge called ‘Make Viral Content all using AI in 30 days’. I attended this online challenge focused on artificial intelligence tools and what I have learned is that nothing can replace the human touch. More importantly, I learned the endless tools we have available to us to make content, are abundant and amazing. So, I took it upon myself to take advantage of these tools, testing, trialling and experimenting with them.

AI assisted in creating an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for MOM and then with more suggestions and ideas it helped to create a content calendar for 14 days of content ideas based off this ICP.

I prompted beautiful visuals and quotes for social media and attended live workshops to get feedback from AI specialists.

Here are the main tools I discovered and used during the challenge:

  • Text based AI
    • ChatGPT
    • Grammarly
    • Jasper
    • Gemini
    • Claude
  • Idea generation and competitor analysis-based AI
    • Buzz Sumo
    • Content Studio
    • SimilarWeb
    • SparkToro
    • SocialBakers
    • Hootsuite Insights
  • Visual based AI
    • Midjourney
    • Canva
    • Dall-E
    • DeepArt
    • bg
  • Video based AI
    • D-ID
    • Invideo AI
    • Ideogram
    • Midjourney

While my content didn't go viral during the challenge, the results were eye-opening. I saw an improvement in the consistency and quality of my posts and noticed increased engagement from my audience. More importantly, I gained valuable insights into how AI can streamline the content creation process, allowing me to focus more on strategy and personalisation.

Three tips I would suggest for someone looking to incorporate AI into their content strategy:
  • Review the content it creates thoroughly – does it reflect your brands intention and goals?
  • Refine what it creates by asking multiple iterations and suggesting how it can improve towards your goals.
  • Explore different tools (which I have listed above) and use one that suits your company’s needs and challenges.
