As a business who manages other businesses online listings, MOM have logins details for multiple platforms for each and every business we work with. This results in hundreds and hundreds of passwords that are impossible for us to remember! And so we went on a hunt to find a solution...
Most of our clients utilise many different ways to save their catalogue of passwords, including saving them in the browser, excel spreadsheets and diaries, just to name a few. But, is this secure or productive? The short answer is no. It's not secure because of the ease for hackers (saving passwords to browsers), cumbersome (excel spreadsheets), inability to restrict who sees and uses the passwords (diary). That is why we use LastPass.
LastPass is an app used to securely store your passwords in the LastPass Vault, restrict access, whilst also allowing portability should you need to access your password at an alternate location. Security settings allowing multiple team members to view, use or input passwords decrease time to locate the password you're looking for whilst increasing security of for this sensitive information.
